Waterbodies

Spatial Data Consultants, Inc., has provided services and products for many waterbody projects, from lake and dam sites to river and intercoastal waterways. Much of the services we have provided were used to assist local, state and federal government agencies, as well as private businesses, for evaluation purposes. Such as: the assessment of flood damage to the Waccamaw River Intercoastal Waterway in South Carolina from Hurricane Floyd; detailed mapping of the bottoms of Lake Higgins, Lake Brandt, and Lake Townsend for volumetric calculations in determining water volumes during drought conditions for the City of Greensboro, NC; and wetland restoration and preservation studies in the Nahunta Wetland areas.
