Landfill, Quarry and Stock Piles

Spatial Data Consultants, Inc., provides its clients with very accurate Digtal Terrain Models (DTMs) for Volumetric Calculations, Planimetric and Topographic Base Maps for Planning and Developement, and Digital Orthophotography for Visual Land Use Studies. We have collected data, calculated volumes, and provided TINs (Triangulated Interlaced Networks) for many such projects. With our relationships with many of the industries leading engineering firms, products, such as AVI (Animated Video Imaging) files can be produced to provide good tools for estimating and panning future land use of the property.

Spatial data Consultants, Inc., has provided such products and services for: a Brewing Company by mapping coal piles and collecting coal pile densities for calculting yearly coal use; a Rock and Gravel Company by mapping quarries for calculating cut and fill volumes for generations annaul revenue sharing; and many landfills in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virgina by mapping and calculating fill volumes on their landfills to determine future growth and capacity of land use. Our methodology in collection techniques provide our clients with extremely accurate DTMs for calculating very accurate cut and fill volumes and provide our clients with an inexpesive way of obtaining the results they need.
